Saturday Feb 11th GAC is sponsoring a children’s ministry seminar called “God’s Heart for Today’s Kids”.

Both First & Second Service

  • Nursery: Infant-2yrs—Up the ramp, next to the Fellowship Hall  

First Service

  • Jr Church grades K-5th—Upstairs room, in the Fellowship Hall

  • Adult Sunday School—Youth Building, in the south side of the Parking lot

Second Service

  • Toddler Class 2-4yrs—Corner House, in the front room

  • K-2nd grade—Up the stairs, in the Fellowship Hall

  • 3rd-5th grade—Corner House, in the back room

  • 6-8th grade—Jr High Building, next to the corner house

  • 9-12th grade—Youth Building, in the south side of the Parking lot

WHO AM I?   and   MY IDENTITY

WHO AM I?

I am Accepted ...

John 1:12               I am God’s child.
John 15:15             I am Christ’s friend.
Rom 5:1                  I have been justified.
1Cor 6:17               I am united with the Lord and I am one spirit with Him.
1 Cor 6:19-20        I have been bought with a price. I belong to God.
1 Cor 12:27           I am a member of Christ’s body.
Eph 1:1                  I am a saint.
Eph 1:5                 I have been adopted as God’s child.
Eph 2:18               I have direct access to God through the Holy Spirit.
Col 1:14                I have been redeemed and forgiven of all my sins.
Col 2:10                I am complete in Christ.

I am Secure ...

Rom 8:1-2              I am free from condemnation.
Rom 8:28               I am assured that all things work together for good.
Rom 8:31-34          I am free from any condemning charges against me.
Rom 8:35-39          I cannot be separated from the love of God.
2 Cor 1:21-22         I have been established, anointed, and sealed by God.

1 Cor 3:16              I am God’s temple.
2 Cor 5:17-21        I am a minister of reconciliation for God.
2 Cor 6:1                I am God’s co-worker (1 Cor 3:9).
Eph 2:10                I am God’s workmanship.
Eph 2:6                  I am seated with Christ in the heavenly realm.
Eph 3:12                I may approach God with freedom & confidence.
Phil 4:13                I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

You are a saint (one declared righteous by God) who sometimes sins.
You get your identity from what You have done. You get your identity from what God has done for you.
You get your identity from what People say about you. You get your identity from what God says about you.
Your behavior tells you what to believe about yourself.
 Your belief about yourself determines your behavior.

Help! Pastor’s Fund

We have a special fund here at GAC called the Pastors Fund. This fund is setup to be used at the pastor’s discretion for those in our church family who need help financially.

 

Many of us have been blessed by this special ministry that has been generously supplied by fellow church family members.

 

Because of the extra need this year this fund is empty.

 

If God puts it on your heart to give to this fund beyond your regular tithes and offerings, please put it in the offering plate and designate it to the "Pastor’s Fund".

 Nursery Changes

We are making some changes in our nursery to welcome all the new arrivals into our church family.

The existing prayer room connected to the nursery is going to be converted into a crib/changing area for our little ones.

We are in need of some new or slightly used items.  

·        2 Small or Port-a-Cribs

·        2 Saucers or Walkers

·        1 Baby Swing

OPPORTUNITY!
 Missions and Evangelism

Brothers & Sisters in Jesus:

This is an invitation for those who have a heart for Missions and Evangelism.  The Church Governing Board has recently determined to establish a Missions and Evangelism Committee in order to provide Glendora Alliance with both fresh vision and direction in this area of ministry.

If you have an interest in or a burden for the lost and share the heart of Jesus in this aspect of ministry, please use this flier to express the same.  We want those who will share as members of this committee to promote this essential ministry.

You can also join us Saturday mornings at 8am in the Youth Bldg to pray for these.

Please add me to the GAC Prayer Chain as soon as possible. I promise to call those (2-3 people) who are assigned to me. I understand that I will be called at any time in an emergency.

I would like to join a team of people who pray for the pastor (or whoever is preaching), and others before and during the 1st or 2nd Service on assigned Sundays.
